DESCRIPTION:The Battle Born Patriots (BBP) chapter\, SAR\, is excited to announce a raffle for a SAR 250th Anniversary Lexington and Concord Edition Lever Action Henry Rifle. This fundraiser supports our Liberty Prize program\, with all proceeds going towards future BBP chapter grants for deserving students. \n \nThe Lexington-Concord Edition commemorates the historic events that took place on April 19th\, 1775\, which sparked the American Revolutionary War. \nThis Henry rifle is built using the classic Henry Big Boy platform\, and features the SAR logo engraved on its stock and receiver\, with depictions of Militiamen battling British Regulars at the Old North Bridge\, in Concord\, Massachusetts. The right side of the forearm is engraved “Battles of Lexington and Concord – April 19\, 1775”. The left side is engraved “The Shot Heard Round The World”. \nAs befits this pivotal event\, this rifle is chambered for the powerful .44 Spcl/.44 Magnum calibers. It has a 20” octagonal barrel (1:20 twist)\, topped with a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front sight. \nThe Henry Big Boy SAR 250th Anniversary Lexington-Concord commemorative edition rifle is the Third of a 10-year Limited Edition series of Henry Rifles\, and is sure to enhance the collection of any enthusiast. \n2025 11-15 LIBERTY AWARDS -\, BBP Treas. Jim McLane\, David Hess\, Rifle Winner Brian Hendon\, Pres. Donn Dalton. 7869.\nEvent Details \nThe drawing will take place during the Liberty Prize awards dinner on November 16\, 2026\, at\nthe Reno Elks Lodge. \nHow to Participate \nTo secure a ticket\, please send your donation and details to Jim McLane\, our BBP Treasurer. Jim will record your contribution and notify David Hess\, who will enter your name for the appropriate number of tickets. David will then provide you with your assigned ticket numbers. \nDuring the drawing\, each ticket number will correspond to a numbered ball in the raffle hopper. If all 300 tickets are sold\, there will be 300 numbered balls. The hopper will be spun\, and a single ball will be drawn to determine the winner. \nImportant Information \n\nOnly 300 tickets will be sold.\nThere is no limit to how many tickets you can purchase.\nTickets are available to out-of-state donors\, as the musket is not classified as a firearm under the 1968 GCA.\nTicket sales close on November 16\, 2026\, or when all tickets are sold\, whichever comes first.\n\nGood luck\, and thank you for supporting the Liberty Prize program!
