The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) are proud to announce that they will be offering two $2000 grants each exclusively for juniors and seniors in Northern Nevada schools. SAR is committed to supporting and nurturing young leaders passionate about American history and the Founding Father’s legacy.
“We at SAR are thrilled to provide these two grants to Northern Nevada students eager to explore and learn more about our nation’s heritage,” said SAR president Donn Dalton. “We believe in fostering a strong sense of patriotism and encouraging students to understand the pivotal role that our Founding Fathers played in shaping our nation.”
The grants will be available to eligible juniors and seniors in all Northern Nevada schools, including Washoe County for the 2024-25 school year. The application process, designed to be straightforward and accessible, will be conducted by a panel of SAR members who have a deep understanding of American history and the significance of the Founding Fathers.
The grant application deadline is October 1st, 2024, and the grant recipients will be announced on November 1st 2024. The SAR website has more information on the grants and the application process.
